There was too much construction in Nevada that could be supported by economic growth.

One person is not the blame for this. What would happen if Harry Reid said this?

1. Harry Reid is more incompetent than Wylie Coyote.

I'm not a big Harry Reid fan and I think he's been a tremendous liability as the senate leader.

Having said this, any politician incapable of burying Sharron Angle with her own words is about as incompetent as anyone can get.

Assuming that Reid wins back his senate seat, I sure as hell hope the Dems select a senate leader with a backbone -- one who is capable of showing anger, toughness, and pounding Republican senators into the sewer they crawled from.

2. Good question
The Dems should be pounding the R's for the mess they left this country in. So why are they playing defense? Just don't get it.

3. First he'd need to track down a spine, or some sort of "vertebrae"
But I wouldn't bank on it happening anytime soon.

4. Its not the housing colapse thats got Harry in trouble
its his lack of a spine. Nevada is a a borderline repuke state with its largest newspaper a complete right wing rag. To overcome that he needs to have been a dem to bring people out for him and despite the right wing tripe that hes some far left loonie he is disgustingly moderate. He has done too much to enable the right over the past 6- 8 years to have left a good taste in most dems mouths out here and the fact that he may not beat a certifiably insane person attests to that.

Think of all the enabling of bush he did and his handling of health care and a myriad of other legislation that he either didnt let get to the floor or worse did.

I was ready to vote against him based soley on his position as majority leader and the piss poor way he has handled it. The only thing saving my vote for him is the fact that his oponent is a total crack pot who i dont dare let anywhere near the senate if I can help it.
