Bill Clinton to rally Dems in Columbus

Details remain in flux, but informed Democrats say that former President Bill Clinton will be in Columbus on Oct. 30 to hold a get out the vote rally for candidates such as Gov. Ted Strickland and Rep. Mary Jo Kilroy, D-Columbus.

Clinton has been roving the country, campaigning for Democrats trying to hold on to their congressional majority and gubernatorial seats.

It's apparently going to be a big weekend for high-profile out-of-town campaigners.

President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden, also in an effort to help Strickland in the Democratic governor's heated contest with Republican John Kasich, will appear in Cleveland on October 31, just two days before the November election, the Democratic National Committee announced Thursday.
