Latest Poll in West Virginia Shows... Oh, Who The Hell Knows?
Seems like every day there's a new poll in West Virginia that discounts the one that came out before it. Today, it's from Dem pollster Grove Insight showing Dem. Joe Manchin with a five point lead over John Raese.

Rasmussen and Pulse Opinion show Raese leads

Dem Internals show Manchin leads

Everyone else shows everything in between.

Not sure how many DU folk are from West Virginia, but it's going to be a ground war... get out and do your part. Yes, Manchin's a conservative Democrat, but he's not John Raese.

1. Rasmussen and Pulse Opinion are basically the same
There aren't many polling outfits taking a look at this race, but the consensus is that it will be close. If Manchin released an internal with him up, then he must have some confidence he can win.

2. Not clear
whether or not this was a Manchin internal, done on behalf of the DSCC, or some outside group. In fact, I haven't yet been able to find anything other than the toplines. Still, even if you figure in the usual seven point buffer for an internal, the race is right there for the taking.

3. Manchin . . .

. . . will win easily. This isn't going to be closer than 2-3 points. It's only Razzbag who has been pushing the narrative that Raese is leading. He's not.

5. I've come to believe that too. Nearly every internal poll from every candidate shows
that their candidate is winning.
