Meg Whitman flyer in my mail yesterday!!

I get this cutesy little history of meg whitman. (yuk)

but it made me question...

Why haven't I received any mailings from my party? (have any of you?)

I haven't received ANYTHING from the Democratic party regarding this election (with the exception of Planned Parenthood and NARAL who have been sending me emails like twice a week)

I think they need to flood us with more info to encourage us to get out and vote (for those who don't feel encouraged right now)

I would be happy to receive as much information as I can.

1. Today I received two flyers from the GOP

One bashing Elaine Marshall, who is running for US Senate here in NC, and another bashing Bill Purcell, a state senator who is up for re-election. It was just a bunch of lies. I've also received flyers bashing Larry Kissell, and praising his opponent Harold Johnson. Haven't received much from the Democratic Party, aside from e-mails which I had already signed up for.

2. I get something every day...

Sometimes four or five pieces, from everyone. I like that Meg Whitman is wasting her money mailing to me:)

3. I have gotten one for my state rep and another for a judge

Both arrived just before early voting started. Since they're both Democrats, they both got my vote.

4. today i got something from cuomo saying paladino is a taker

or something. i threw it on the ground next to the mailbox. the one i got for paladino went into the fire. bob tries putting return to sender on them and puts them back in the mailbox.

5. I received two Brown mailers in the past week

I also get a lot of daily e-mails from various campaigns. Most appeal for contributions, but sometimes one will stand out from the herd. Like today's e-mail from Jerry Brown's campaign asking for volunteers to make 11 phone calls (I'm substituting <links> for the hotlinks in the original):
