when fans were allowed or tolerated in pouring onto the field after team won the championship.

2. "Fans" also didn't use to try and injury the players
A few bag eggs spoil it for everyone. After a couple of those wackjobs with knives and the recent guy who ran onto the field at Yankees stadium trying to kill a player because he was stalking his wife, they arent going to let anyone close.
