unhappycamper note: Since the ‘Pentagon’ (Righthaven LLC?) has ‘requested’ that I only post one paragraph from articles on Army Times, and Airforce Times, I’ve decided to give ya’ll an unhappycamper summary of the article and a link to the OP. In the wake of reports that a record number of soldiers committed suicide at Fort Hood, Texas, this year, the Defense Department has released more grim statistics: Eighteen active-duty soldiers and eight reservists may have killed themselves in September.

1. as more data is released that reveals what these troops have actually experienced in Iraq and Afghan
anticipate this to go even higher.Anyone with a shred of conscience will despise themselves...especially since the blame will be placed directly on the troops and not those who repeatedly sent them to a senseless war.
