2. Excuse my ignorance, but how are the Koch bros and Soros different with respect to their donations?
Aside from ideology, of course.

3. There is a good deal of difference -
Soros is transparent in who he donates to.

He is not trying to impose theocracy and fascism on this country. Nor is he pushing against environmental regulations just so he can make more money.

The Kochs are the spawn of the Birchers and their ilk. Fascists wearing a libertarian mask - but that's redundant - Libertarians always turn out to be fascists.

4. For one thing, Soros is right out in the open with his donations
while the Koch brothers have long hidden behind bland sounding PACs, think tanks and shell corporations. I've been trying to clue people in for 10 years and it's now only starting to get out there. There is a good reason they never wanted people to know what they were up to.

Ideology is also vitally important. Soros is an immigrant who appreciates the country as it was founded. The Koch brothers were raised by a fascist father and who want to remake the country into his ideal, abandoning all the principles this country was founded on.

Soros seeks to preserve a democratic republic. The Koch brothers seek to destroy it and replace it with a fascist oligarchy. That is the difference.

6. And the Bushes are related to the Kochs by marriage.
How's that for a dynasty of terror?

8. Soros does not fund dirty tricks that I know of.
Koch funds people who troll, cage votes, set up people in the media, etc.

5. Yeah, that's something new.
Has history teaching been gutted in the United States? Check out what our rich boys were doing in the 30s, right after the last time they crashed the economy to disaster.

7. If anyone is interested, I found a chart of the attendees at their meeting.
It's at the foot of this Think Progress article:

10. It's the honored family trade.
This little red-baiting pamphlet was written by old Fred Koch back in the day.
