2. I voted yes. Had to sign to buy some yesterday and it sucks, but I hate meth and tweakers more
It is too easy to make, too cheap to make and this is the only part of the equation that I can see being limited.

3. See, my pharmacy doesn't even carry it, which sucks. When I'm stuffed up...
...it is the bomb.

But I live in a city crawling with tweakers and, sadly, I would rather not have access to it than they did.

I'm sorry it has gotten so, am tired of tweakers and all the problems with them.

14. You hate drug addicts?
They're people, and anyone can have a drug problem.

It's one thing to hate the social problem of addictions, it's quite another to hate anyone who has ever found themselves with a drug problem.

15. You are taking my words too literally. I hate tweaking, I hate what crystal meth does, I hate what
tweakers do on it. Excuse me for wording as I did before as that is not what I meant. Seriously. I am sorry, didn't mean it that way.

17. No problem.
Having seen you around these parts before, I didn't think you meant that, I just didn't want it to go unchallenged.

4. I can't figure out why more people don't just grow their own ephedra plants

and make tea.

The seeds are cheap, too. (Ma Huang, also known as ephedra sinica)

18. I've thought about doing that but ...
I haven't thought enough about it to find out information I'd need, like how much of it to use. I used to like ephedra better than pseudoephidrene, when both were freely available, but I don't want to use too much of it.

8. To my understanding, it's helped quite a bit.
At least that's what the local news and police say around here.

19. those dumb shit assholes
who made meth illegal for adults in the first place

before meth was forbidden it was sold as pills

meth in pills was still speed but different than smoked meth

ther were far less impurities and thus the drug was easier on the body of the user or addict

because it was a pill there was not the instant effect given from smoking which is psychologically mre addictive than in pill form

not smoking it meant not losing teeth...

were it legalized again the harm from its addiction would be reduced and people with allergies would not be forbidden from buying meds to treat it effectively

plus we should be free to hurt/kill ourselves if we want to. We are free, not slaves.

12. Keeping it behind the counter and limiting it to 2 packs to a customer
Edited on Sat Oct-23-10 04:23 PM by Warpy
has drastically cut down on the number of meth labs in this town. It had been getting ridiculous around here, explosions and fires happening weekly, kids being poisoned by the nasty chemicals, hotel rooms and houses being declared hazmat sites.

Meth labs have moved south of the border here. Mexico has no restrictions and drug labs can get pseudoephedrine in bulk from India. It's one reason their drug war has turned so incredibly violent. Meth is high profit and it's also nasty stuff when people start sampling the goods.

The restrictions here aren't unreasonable. They haven't completely stopped people from cooking meth but they've slowed them down considerably. Addicts mostly get it from Mexico now.

Common sense restrictions do work while allowing people with sinus problems to get an effective decongestant without any real trouble.

The best we can do is slow these clowns down for now until the politicians get the balls it will take to end the stupid and futile drug war.

16. Nope. Time to stop tilting at windmills in a bogus effort at prohibition. Long past time.
People will decide for themselves what they want in their bodies, everything else is an absurd waste of dwindling resources.

Supporting this crap is a vote for poverty, private prisons, and the police state.

20. They should legalize meth.
That way, tweekers wouldn't have to cook it from pseudoephedrine to get it.

Put a few restrictions on it - make sure that kids under the age of 21 can't buy it, and make sure the stuff available is pharmaceutically pure.

Put a big red label on it saying "WARNING! THIS SHIT WILL KILL YOU!!!"

Then let natural selection do the rest...
