OMG!!! The Bush twins' rolling party machine is back in D.C.!!
immediately after mommy and daddy left town, the twins dropped back in, back for another summer party season in D.C. and Jenna's getting fired up for her fall "book tour". :puke:

2. They should go and clean bed pans @ Walter Reed
" .... one diner saw the men send shots over to the twins' table. The women left, only to return
with four more friends, and the whole bunch of them spent the rest of the evening in Hook's
bar-lounge."

4. I saw them once two summers ago
Leaving the WH with a bunch of kids their age out of the East entrance. Dressed to the nines in tuxs and expensive dresses. It might have been for Prom or just hobnobbing like kids with too much money they haven't really earned are wont to do. I was just walking by and happened to see them.

Kinda sad that they are so sheltered and other people's children have to suffer and die for "freedom". Just sad really. Other than that fleeting thought, they are just kids. Leave them alone. The sins are the sins of the father.

5. Just kids? They're in their mid-twenties, for dog's sake!
Why are you allowing them some sort of extended adolescence?

6. Republicans have that privilege, you know.
Like Henry Hyde and his "youthful indiscretions" at age 40.

15. But damn, if a Democrat stole a piece of gum when they were 5
it shows their total disregard for the rule of law, as well as their own personal moral bankruptcy.

10. Kids in the sense that they are the children and other than acting like drunken boobs
Edited on Tue May-22-07 08:46 AM by YOY
they have done nothing wrong.

Regardless of their age they are still merely the children and Shrub is still the one in charge. You can be 90 and still be someone's child. They have no power and furthermore have done nothing wrong other than having an assmunch idiot for a father. Sure they may act like they are quite important but really the twins did not start the war in Iraq. They're just rich debutantes... They did nothing worthy of an invite to The Hague.

Daddy and his friends however...

18. they are the children of a powerful political figure
and the heirs to a powerful political dynasty. because of who they are, they have certain privileges and they will continue to be in the spotlight...and they will be judged. i don't think that's necessarily wrong, but i do agree they shouldn't be indicted for the crimes of their father.

19. Hey they don't sound like 'good kids' by my measure
but they are about as guilty of as much as Paris Hilton (aside the DUI or whatever the hell she did) is.

Being piss poor embassadors to the world, not serving while others their age are dying for the very falsehoods their father promotes, and exibiting proof that their father/family doesn't really give a shit about FReeper "fambly values"...yeah they do that. All in all, I'll just consider them a sideshow if & until they actually try to take the reins. Then it's open season.

25. i think w is the end of the line for the bushistas
the twins 'indiscretions' have been in the spotlight constantly, unlike w's rather quiet cocaine abuse and dui.
his legacy: an illegal war, abuse of the constitution, subversion of democracy, etc, etc, etc, will make it difficult for the twins to take the reins of anything.

28. If Paris Hilton is fair game so are these sorry sisters
They may act like children but they are "adults."

I see absolutely no reason to keep quiet about their behavior ~ they don't care how they represent us!

The MSM was hard as hell on Chelsea and Amy so why the silence on these two?

They indicate the "family values" that are important to the Bush Thugs. :sarcasm:

30. I disapproved of the MSM coverage of Chelsea and Amy, so
without being a hypocrite, I have to be against the same type of coverage of the Bush twins. Besides, I'd hate to be judged by the actions of my parents.

20. My problem is all of this debauchery that is being flung in our faces..
they are worthy of secret service protection, and they should have it, but IMO opinion they shouldn't be out flaunting their carefree party whimsies while A) There is a war going on that their daddy started and B) they are on the American taxpayer's dime.

We hear all of this bullshit about how they are helping the poor and unfortunate, but in truth, those are just small pitstops on the non-stop drunken party tour, much like daddy's early life.

No, technically they haven't done anything wrong, but they show extreme tackiness and disregard in their actions.

I guess Jenna will make it all go away when she goes out on her crusade to save poor degenerate souls with her book tour...:puke:

27. They are the children of a man who is sending other people childred
to their death or to be maimed for life.

They're not any better than Mr. & Mrs. Everyman's kids. Let them live like we do, let them be a 'shining example' of their daddy's policies. Let them serve in Iraq.

Shouldn't they be held accountable for their own actions by now? I guess partying your life away is the "in" thing for presidential princesses.

nothing to do with your time and money but drink and drug, and you're never held accountable for your actions, so WTF, party on.
