2. this made me laugh
but I assume it's about healthcare?

I keep saying it, peeps, we need to co-opt the phrase OBAMACARE. Take it away from the other side. Obamacare is a good thing, yet I keep hearing these horrid political ads where the "average housewife" says to her "average husband" "honey, we can't support _________ - for goodness sake, he supported OBAMACARE!"

6. Your Point Is...
Fahrenheit 9/11 may have been a box office hit, but Republicans still won at the ballot box in November. And success at the ballot box is more important than success at the box office.

Sorry to be a buzz kill

11. LOL....I bet Repukes will spin it
I recall when that turd "An American Carol" came out, it was the same weekend as "Religulous". Well, despite being on far more screens, AAC only drew a few thousand dollars more gross than the Maher movie, and got killed on the per screen average......yet right wingers were saying "All that matters is we made more money". I mean really......is it any wonder these people suck at money?

18. My favorite part of the 'I Want Your $' numbers, is the per screen
figures, $464 average. Even if the tickets were $5 each it is a tiny amount of people. In areas where they hoped to have an audience, they had no audience at all.

14. I was not even aware that it existed
I just took a moment to watch the trailer.

People on the right only care about deficits when they are out of power.

I guess two unpaid for wars, tax cuts for the rich and a giveaway to the drug companies are all OK.

23. Even if you hate him, nobody can deny that Michael Moore goes after BOTH
Democrats AND Republicans.

I noticed during the trailer for I Want Your $$$ (I only saw it played once) there were a bunch of Republicans who kept crying about deficits and spending money. But no mention of Reagan or Bush's role in the deficits and debt. They had the clip of Raygun saying "Government is the problem" (omitting the first half of the sentence, "In this present crisis..." of course). When it came to deficits, it was Carter, then Clinton, then Obama. Zero mention of the Republican presidents in between, or the fact that Clinton had a SURPLUS.
