Do Californians really give a f**k what Michael Bloomberg has to say about the gubernatorial race?
from LA Times:

New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg stood with Republican gubernatorial nominee Meg Whitman at a news conference Friday afternoon in San Jose, arguing that her background as chief executive of EBay and her massive personal investment in the campaign gives her the management skills and independence necessary to be California's next governor.

As a fellow billionaire who held the national record for personal political spending before Whitman surpassed him this year, Bloomberg said he faced similar criticism nine years ago over his lack of government experience.

"She is exactly what we need in these tough economic times," he said. "Back in 2001, when people said I didn't have the experience to run the biggest city in the country, because I had never worked in the public sector, they were really skeptical. But the reality is that a smart, talented manager who has thrived in the private sector can definitely succeed in government."

He added: "She is not a career politician. She is a career problem-solver. We don't need politicians today. We need problem-solvers." ...........(more)

1. This Californian doesn't
Seven years ago we elected another republican who promised to "run kuhleefornia like a business". He came in full of big talk about cleaning up the "mess in Sacramento" nad how he was going to kick the crap out of the legislative girly men who were spending the state into the poorhouse.

Now he's slinking out of office with his tail between his legs, and the emptiness of his talk and the utter failure of his term as governor is apparent to even our worthless liberal media. So what are being promised from this bored (and boring) rich skank who's running for governor on the republican ticket.

Why, she's gonna "run California like a business" and "clean up the mess in Sacramento."

Fool me once shame on, uh, uh, me. Fool me twice, uh, uh, uh, ain't gonna get fooled again.

As the saying goes.

11. who is this Bloomberg character? New York, wtf do I care what
someone from that town thinks about elections in my state. This may surprise some people, especially New Yorkers but most native Californians and Californians in general don't care one bit about NYC politicos. I saw that former ceo squiring this Bloomberg guy around n the news yesterday. Kind of pathetic if you ask me. She's so toxic she has to drag a high level grifter like Bloomberg 3000 miles for a photo op.
