That doesn't mean I'm not going to vote. And it sure as hell doesn't mean I'm going to vote for a republiCon. I received my absentee ballot on Friday and sent it back in yesterday--straight democratic slate, natch. I'm not willing to believe the whole country has gone insane despite the liberal media's insistence that that is the case. Here's hoping that sane voters are the new silent majority.

4. I know it's an awful waste of electricity but,

I'm getting a lot of satisfaction out of shredding all of that noxious propaganda. Yesterday half of my mail was 'Con crap and they knocked at my door to boot. Needless to say, I didn't bother answering. When I went out later I found the same stuff hanging from my door knob that I had earlier found in my mailbox. Sad to think of all the trees dying for that teabag bullshit. And to whoever invented caller ID, I'm eternally grateful!

2. Voted on 1st day of early voting

I admit, I'm less than enthusiastic about my Democratic congressman, Chet Edwards. He ran an ad for about two days bragging how he stood up to Obama and Pelosi and voted against health care. So, I held my nose and voted for him just to keep a check mark in the Democratic side of the house. But I'm very enthusiastic against all the nutjob GOPers and teabaggers.
