Democrat Andrew Cuomo warned Sunday that progress would be "rolled back in one day" if Buffalo firebrand Carl Paladino were elected governor.

Paladino, meanwhile, suffered a blow Sunday from the newspaper that knows him best. The Buffalo News, Paladino's hometown paper, endorsed Cuomo for governor.

"(Paladino) doesn't have the temperamental balance to actually serve as governor," the newspaper wrote in its editorial. "Anger, alone, won't cut
it."
