I was talking to a moderate Dem friend of mine at the gym the other day... |
|
I asked him what he thought about the election coming up...
He snorted. He was none too impressed with any of the top Dem candidates...
But he did say the teabagger candidates are so loony that they make it easy for any rational person to vote for the Dems...
I suspect he's not alone.
He's paying attention, and I think a lot of folks with normal intelligence are.
My two cents...

9. my sister-in-law is religious and conservative but she's not |
|
voting for the republican or the tea bagger. She can't stomach them.

I can feel little winged anxieties eating my liver.

5. I can't really answer that. |
|
But I do know it when I see it, and I saw it in my friend.
I don't really feel anxious about this election (at least in CA) anymore...

6. Dinner with friends this evening. In Illinois it's going to be one of those "hold your |
|
nose and vote" elections but all of us will do it. No way we want Mark Kirk as senator or Bill Brady as governor.

7. I'm thinking the tea partiers will be more helpful to the Democrats |
|
than to the Republicans.
At least I hope so.

8. That's what my friend thought... |
|
That the tea partiers are so damn crazy they make the Democrats look sane by comparison.
And in California anyway, they are.
