I was talking to a moderate Dem friend of mine at the gym the other day...

I asked him what he thought about the election coming up...

He snorted. He was none too impressed with any of the top Dem candidates...

But he did say the teabagger candidates are so loony that they make it easy for any rational person to vote for the Dems...

I suspect he's not alone.

He's paying attention, and I think a lot of folks with normal intelligence are.

voting for the republican or the tea bagger. She can't stomach them.

I don't really feel anxious about this election (at least in CA) anymore...

6. Dinner with friends this evening. In Illinois it's going to be one of those "hold your

nose and vote" elections but all of us will do it. No way we want Mark Kirk as senator or Bill Brady as governor.
