2. They are especially disgusting this morning, I agree. I'm thinking maybe that means
we are scaring them and we won't lose the house....the better we look, the more partisan they become, that's my guess...

3. "dumbing down of America"
It just amazes me, with today's technology, overwhelming access to information, 24-hour news programming, the reach of the internet.

And we're still dumb as shit.

The evidence that blows my mind the most is when over 50% of Americans actually believed that Saddam Hussein was "personally involved" in the Sept 11th attacks. We don't even know who attacked us that day.

Sorry I know your point was somewhat different. But it all comes down to this dumbing down, IMO.

4. The "dumbing down" of America is appalling...but
it's an ongoing "effort"...not a done deal..The fact of a 54 percent "win" for a democratic black man with a muslim middle name, not to mention the huge effort currently being undertaken to "defeat" these corporate whores, says the war isn't over.

It's sadly true how misinformed many of us are, but that's not because "we're dumb as shit"...It's because "we" are being deliberately misinformed and lied to.

5. I turned it off after Joe pontificated that Obama should have immediately,
I mean immediately after the inauguration, called Mitch. That would have sealed the deal on bipartisianship...Had to leave.

6. We had best listen. The Republicans are telling us the country
is not as much trouble as thought. If Palin is ready to
run the country, it must be in pretty darn good shape.
