U.S. Rep. Tim Holden suspends campaigning due to mother's illness

Democratic Pennsylvania Rep. Tim Holden is taking time away from the campaign trail, citing his mother’s illness.

Holden’s campaign said Sunday that the nine-term 17th District congressman has suspended personal campaigning indefinitely to spend time with his mother, Catherine, and other family members who are with her.

"Rep. Holden doesn't care about the people of his district" or something else like that. I mean I really would not put it past them.
Anyway, here's hoping that Rep. Holden's mother is ok. May she and her family be at peace.
