Social Conservative Robocall Drops 'Homosexual' Reference Ten Times In Attacking Democrat
An otherwise obscure statehouse race in Midland County, Michigan, may be home to the most remarkable robocall of the election cycle -- put up by a social conservative group, it drops the word "homosexual" ten times.

Over the weekend, Gary Glenn, the chairman of the Campaign for Michigan Families, released a robocall attacking the Democratic candidate in the race, Tony Sessoms, as a stooge for the "homosexual activist agenda." Sessoms is openly gay. But if a voter didn't know that, they certainly got the point after getting Glenn's call.

Liberal Democratic lawyer and openly homosexual statehouse candidate Tony Sessoms, doesn't share our values. Michiganliberal.com boasts that Sessoms is 'independently wealthy, and if elected would become the first openly lesbian state representative.' Sessoms is endorsed by the homosexual newspaper in Detroit, by Detroit's homosexual equality Michigan PAC and by the Michigan Democratic Party homosexual and transgender caucus. Sessom's campaign manager is the openly homosexual Central Michigan University faculty member who lost the statehouse race two years ago. Her deputy campaign manager was co-president of CMU's homosexual student group -- an openly homosexual candidate with a campaign run by homosexual activists. But, of course, in a district where voters strongly supported the marriage protection amendment none of this is disclosed on Tony Sessom's campaign material. With homosexual activists in the Michigan Democratic Party pushing to repeal our marriage amendment, our families deserve a state representative we can trust shares our values. Not a candidate with a hidden agenda, homosexual activist agenda, not Tony Sessoms.

The GOP has nothing but hate and fear.Unfortunately, they have a lot of company out there.

2. Most days I hate the word homosexual
People have an instinctual negative reaction to that word vs gay or lesbian.

::sigh::

I hate that the largest newspaper in the state uses the word "homosexual" instead of gay. It is SO infuriating!

3. How much uglier can it get?
Openly homosexual, does this mean the bigots would be for her if she was still in the closet? If you ask me, this is hate speech...but nobody asked me, damn it.

And why did HuffPo misspell her name over and over? It's Toni, not Tony.

8. And of course it's hate speech and Gays are still the favorite to be hated.
All the bigots can't openly hate the Jews, the minorities or women. Gays are the only group left that society still condones openly hating.

5. I Received a Similar One In Texas
From the American Family Association urging me to talk to my pastor on the "proper" way to vote.

Last I checked Church's were not supposed to be involved in Politics, but in this loony season all sorts of laws seem to be able to be ignored at will.
