Nature Break Story.
I posted last spring about a humming bird landing on my finger. This morning while sitting on the throne finishing my morning meditation a small hawk with a bands on its tail comes and lands on my hat for a brief moment, then out and lands on a gate just outside. Felt like it was playing tag or "counting coup." What could it have been thinking? I so enjoy how nature can deliver 'little pleasures' when we least expect them.

Now off to look at a fisheries project a neighbor is proposing.

1. Maybe it was searching for a mate
and your hat looked sorta promising :)

2. I was wondering later today if it was the coopers hawk I had found in my Chicken pen
and taken to bird rescue years back, and it was just coming by to say "I'm back."
