1. Did they just not announce them on Friday? |
It seems really odd to close their doors on a Monday. Doing it on Friday allows new owners time to come in and change the signs, at the very least.

2. The article states "TODAY". I thought it was odd too, but |
I'm not a reporter from the Atlanta Business Chronical. These are the first I've heard of being closed on a day oter than Friday.

8. Georgia is like the rest of the Republic south......losing fast... |
I live in Atlanta. There are things about Georgia that I like including the weather (except for the summers). But the politics here are not to be believed. The voters do not think for themselves. They listen to what their preacher tells them on Sunday and if that fails vote for the guy/gal with the R next to their name. They vote against their own self-interest time and again.
So there will be more bank failures in Georgia, more failures in the classroom, more failures in business. But Deal is going to cut your taxes...how? What else are they going to take away?
