BILL BRADY & MARK KIRK??? WTF???!?!? (Rs IL)
In my humble (99%) liberal neighborhood, I saw lawn signs for these two Republican schmucks. Has the world gone ?

Anyone here on DU actually VOTE for either? Why fucking WHY??? :wtf:

1. Bill Brady would be the most conservative governor in at least 50 years
I realize Quinn is toxic, but I just have a hard time believing that Illinois will make Bill Brady governor, it is scary.

3. Those two and their stupid commercials every five minutes all
over the tv are really making me glad the election is only a week away. I live in the Chicago tv viewing area, but across the border in Indiana. We're subjected to those ads all day and night and they aren't even for candidates on our ballot.

6. Same here in eastern Iowa. We get the worst of both states,
Branstad, Grassley and Lange in Iowa and Brady, Kirk, and Schilling in Illinois. Just a never ending stream of negative ads. It's maddening.

7. I've yet to see a political ad for anyone running in Indiana,
they're all for Illinois candidates. But I live in the blue corner of this red state and there's no way the republican challenger can possibly beat our Congressman, so they don't bother to buy tv ads. I imagine that since we're in the Chicago tv market, they'd be too expensive anyway. I sure don't envy you, I'd probably have thrown the tv out the window by now if I had to watch even more negative ads!

4. Bill Brady and Mark Kirk are
stereotypical republicans, for corporations and against abortion. What makes it worst is that Kirk is a lier, and Brady is against everything democrats stand for.

5. They have a boatload of $$$$$$. Way more than Pat or Alexi.
I think Quinn will pull it out. Giannoulias... I'm really worried about.
