Mitch McConnell: "The single most important thing is for Obama to be a one-term president"
Edited on Mon Oct-25-10 08:57 PM by Amerigo Vespucci
NOT the economy.

NOT the endless foreclosures.

NOT healthcare.

NOT the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

What this beady-eyed lipless fuck values the most is kicking "that one" to the curb in 2012.

Ladies and gentlemen, your tax dollars at work.

Bonus Quote of the Day
"The single most important thing we want to achieve is for President Obama to be a one-term president."

-- Senate minority leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY), in an interview with the National Journal, describing his goal in retaking the Senate.

1. It's a good thing the cretin has beady eyes, since minus a chin and lips
he'd otherwise have no face.

God bless the Teapublican Party, but fuck the country; they get in the way, right, Mitch?

3. I actually heard that on NPR today
Cognitive dissidence at work to say the least....

And yes, it is compelling enough to vote for the Dems but I resent being blackmailed into it.

baby-face mitchie does have a point, in my mind, getting rid of the bu$h-cheney crime family was damn close to the top for me for eight years....besides they couldn't fix anything if their lives depended on it, it is not in their blood...all they can do is fuck stuff up.

5. By that quote he is saying that he does not want to do his job
He is saying that he refuses to abide by his oath of office.

I an getting real sick of these treasonous bastards.
They should all be impeached. It is their job to work with the president to
make this country better. If they can not do that then they need to
resign. They do not deserve to serve.

7. That is the kind of stuff that should have been in the
Democratic ads from the beginning. Just use their own quotes against them. "We have to hope Obama fails" "If we beat Obama on health care it will be his Waterloo" "The single most important thing is for Obama to be a one term President" I am sure there are many more we could add these.

8. And yet, for some reason, that never happens
I don't consider myself to be a psychic, but I'm confident that few here will disagree with me when I say that 2012 is positioned to be the dirtiest presidential campaign in our history.

The racism and obstructionism have been flowing freely since Obama was elected, but I only see that getting worse. We may think we've seen it all, but I predict we will be shocked and sickened by what is to come.

The question, then, is what are we going to do about it?

9. Sounds like a home stretch campaign issue to me.
The other 98% of Americans struggling outside the beltway are a completely abstract to A$$holes like McConnell.

12. Think America! What is the easiest way for them to accomplish
this? Make sure the economy tanks and the Federal Government does nothing to help. It isn't even a new plan, they will just get more control to make things worse.

Really, is there ANYTHING more stupid than voting Republican?
