We can together lower gas prices.
Edited on Tue May-22-07 11:47 AM by liberaldemocrat7
The REPUBLIKLAN party prides itself wrongly on how they keep taxes low. Ha! However their backers raise prices and tax us as well and not a peep comes from Republicans.

Call your local Exxon/Mobil gas stations and tell the managers: UNLESS you get your parent CEO of Exxon/Mobil to lower prices so they can sell gas for $1.75 a gallon, you will not get your car repaired at their gas station and you will not buy gas from their station and not buy food and other conveneince store. That will pressure Exxon/Mobil stations throughout the coutry to get their parent company to do something.

The object of this appears to hurt the local gas station and force them to get their parent to lower the gas price. Then buy your gas at citgo or some other station.

Make the phone calls to your local Exxon/Mobil station. Exxon/Mobil a big GOP contributor. Once Exxon/Mobil lowers their prices the other stations will have to follow suit.

5. There is a way to force oil companies to lower prices and with little
inconvenience to the consumer...For one never fill up the tank and never buy at the same station within 30 days..
Regardless of the distance you are traveling just buy a minimum to get from Point A to point B and even buy a few gallons in between if necessary..The objective is to keep the local station's gas inventory move very slow and it then backs up to the supplier. With high inventories they would lower the price and the key would be to keep using the same tactics even after the price is lowered.
In order for this strategy to work a large percentage of drivers must participate..But it would cause the inventory to "back up" because most localities have different distributors...

10. Please read the link I posted.
Your idea cannot work, even for the positivity squad. :) Snopes does a very good job of explaining why it can't work.
