Why the Violence is getting so bad? Here is one thing I believe
Since the candidates are able to take unlimited corporate funds (thanks Robert's Supreme Court) they don't need the people as much. They know too that the media is mostly corporate owned so they will get little flak there. That is why I believe we must support our own media and demand that Democratic businesses and corporations start funding more TV and Radio networks.

1. I think there's a leadership dimension, too
Folks like Senate Minority Leader McConnell can't rouse themselves to speak out against the eminently wrong behavior, which signals tacit agreement with violent methods. Why doesn't Sen. McConnell issue a public statement? Is it because he can't or he won't or he's frightened of being the victim of violence? Ultimately, the reason doesn't matter, as the violence-prone will see the silence of Sen. McConnell as an endorsement. Does Sen. McConnell think that by avoiding the issue it will go away? Or is he fearful of alienating part of his base, a part that has demonstrated that it's not afraid to use violence to further their aims? Does he think his silence will keep him safe, even as the level of violence rises, because he's not drawing attention to himself? Is this really the vision of society the Republicans want to see come about? Are they 100% sure that they will always ride the dragon and that it will never turn on them?

2. the candidates incite
violence with their rhetoric. They know what they are doing because their words and phrases are carefully chosen to elicit what they consider support.

3. The violence is increasing because RW leaders have given it their
tacit, and in some cases their explicit, approval.

4. Corporate money, no matter what the laws, will always find a way
to the candidate.
