I am an Individual Ready Reserve call-back, or drafted soldier, same thing.
I come across too many people who agree that this war
is a lie. How can any American soldier agree to side with our commander in chief? The billions wasted with little progress to show. Sure, you might say we have liberated the Iraqi people from Saddam Hussein. OK, Saddam’s gone, and you can’t stop a terrorist. It’s impossible. You can maybe thwart a few plans here and there, but anybody with half a brain can carry out a terror plot.
Think about the money that was, and still is, being wasted here. I would have liked to have free health care in the United States. How about putting the money toward education? Helping your fellow man, your fellow American?
I don’t know why we are here; I speculate it’s about money and world trade, because it sure isn’t about “winning hearts and minds.” If it was, then why wouldn’t we fix our own government first?
Our president lied to the American people numerous times. If people are brainwashed into thinking that the president is actually helping the world, I suggest they stop pretending and start thinking for themselves.
The people on Capitol Hill are on our side, and so are the American people. All I’m asking is that people take a second to see what they’re fighting for, because it’s probably not what they think. A true American should look out for his fellow man, instead of making an all-time national debt that grows every day.
Research what you have been told, because it’s probably lies. Don’t be a censored voice. Think for yourself, question authority.
