Ohio rally with Bill Clinton moved after objection
http://www.daytondailynews.com/news/ohio-news/ohio-rally-with-bill-clinton-moved-after-objection-986624.html

Organizers of an Ohio political rally featuring former President Bill Clinton are moving the event after local officials objected to it being held outside a high school football stadium a half hour before a game.

A spokeswoman for Gov. Ted Strickland says the Saturday rally will instead be held at a middle school in Massillon.

The Independent reports Tuesday that Massillon Mayor Frank Cicchinelli, a Democrat, and schools Superintendent Lisa Carmichael asked for the move, citing traffic and safety concerns.

U.S. House Republican leader John Boehner also was set to appear near the stadium on behalf of Jim Renacci, who is trying to unseat U.S. Rep. John Boccieri. Boehner will now campaign at Renacci's headquarters in nearby Canton.

6. And always has been. I left Ohio back in 1977 and they'd already won like a gazillion titles.

5. Boehner and Renacci are douche-bags.
Boccieri in addition to being an Iraq war veteran has a 98% pro-environment voting record. League of Conservation Voters listed him as a "must have" for 2010.

Anyway, I predicted Bill Clinton would come to Ohio since right now he is more popular here than the POTUS. Clinton carried Ohio twice. I hope Obama does too, but he's going to need to give people a reason to do so. Not a reason they know, but a reason they can feel.
