1. Holy shit that video is frightening |
|
Ed is showing it again and again. Showing the uniformed police officer who does nothing to stop it.
Ed is pissed.

2. Maybe that's why the local police dept. hasn't charged anyone yet? |
|
I would have thought with the video in had charges would have been fairly quick!

7. So did Tweety. I couldn't watch and I haven't opened any threads here. The |
|
utter violence and hatred of people like this, with no compassion for fellow human beings, literally makes me feel sick to my stomach. I'm getting tears in my eyes just typing this.
I hold all the Republicans and RW talk show hosts totally responsible for preying on peoples' fears and prejudices. They've whipped them into this frenzy and I don't know where it's going. All for the love of money and power.

I missed the beginning of this story, and he recapped it all well, and showed the real outrage that the rest of the media will not. He also called Paul out on the "both sides do it" whine that the corporate media swallows hook. line, and sinker.

23. You don't know how true the kidnapping statement is I posted |
|
that earlier because since the security company does not have a license they have no authority to arrest anybody much less handcuff them. So essentially it was kidnapping and the reporter is stupid if he doesn't file charges and a lawsuit against the company. Suing these people and making them pay is the only thing they understand since money is their God.

21. Ed does not realize it, but HE's complicit in a small way |
|
Edited on Tue Oct-26-10 05:52 PM by SoCalDem
He railed on about the "both sides" shit we have all been complaining about ...well...forever.
EVERY time he has that idiot Heidi Whatshername or the goofy-eyed guy or any other garden-variety republican slug, he is giving them yet another forum to air their venomous tripe. The argument made is always along the lines of "well, it's good to see what our enemies are up to".. really? do we need our few hours of progressive viewing/listening to be polluted with their nonsense, when they already have 24/7 available on Fox and many/most have their own columns/op ed gigs/radio/tv shows? By inviting them on his show, he's playing the "both-sides" game they want him to play.
Precious time is gobbled up by these air-hogs who never have anything constructive to add to any conversation, and the time they waste could be put to much better use.
Ed needs to do a gut-check and just stop having these nutcases on his show.
