New Grayson Poll - Trails 7 against Webster |
|
"A new Susquehanna (R) poll, commissioned by the conservative Florida news site Sunshine State News, has first-term Democratic Rep. Alan Grayson trailing his Republican opponent, former state Sen. Dan Webster.
The numbers: Webster 48%, Grayson 41%, Tea Party candidate Peg Dunmire 4%, and independent George Metcalfe 1%. The survey of likely voters has a ±3.46% margin of error. In the previous poll from a month ago, Webster had 43%, Grayson 36%, Dunmire 6%, and Metcalfe 3%."
Considering this is a republican pollster, I honestly see this as good news. You add a few points because of an obviously republican lean and hes within the margin of error. Obviously I would prefer to see him winning, but with how coy Alan has been lately about his poll numbers I kind of assumed things were much worse. This is still a very winnable race and anyone who wasn't donating because they thought this race might have been a lost cause needs to start. I can see this race getting even closer towards election day.

3. I think there is a Repug conspiracy to create "dead-heat races" |

so it will be much harder to detect electronic fraud in the voting machines. Exit polling and paper ballots are the only way to have a fair honest election.
I seen Alan Grayson in a recent Orlando parade, there was a lot of support when his car drove by. Didn't see any similar enthusiasm for the other candidates, on either parties.

4. Right... It's an (R) poll. |
|
One thing I've wondered, though. A (D) poll is thought to favor Democrats, an (R) poll is supposed to favor Republicans. A candidate's internal polls are supposed to be favorable to the candidate. Why is that? How exactly do they slant it?
Does it go like this?
Q. Who are you planning on voting for? Candidate A, who is awesome, or Candidate B, who is a total slimebucket? A. Candidate B.
Q. What reason best describes why you're voting for Candidate B? (1) You like slimebuckets. (2) You have below-average intelligence. (3) You are a person of questionable morals... A. Is it too late to say Candidate A?
