Ken Buck, who IS an attorney, doesn't
get the First Amendment any better than Christine O'Donnell does.

When did this kind of stupidity become a necessity to run for office via the GOP?

don't forget the anti-intellectualism of the reichwingnuts, the whole repukian party, their suspicion of anybody displaying any sort of intelligence, mental processing, etc.

2. "When did this kind of stupidity become a necessity to run for office via the GOP?"
When the GOP joined forces with the fundie churches.

The church has 2000 years of expertise on making people dumb enough to believe anything.

And the last thing they'd want is people who were willing to support an intelligent person...

They might just listen to the "wrong" one and become an informed citizen.

So, once who've dumbed the people down and made them like it, you can only sell them more stupid.

3. Hmmmm.....
that clip just has him saying that he disagrees with the concept

That could mean that he knows it is in the 1st Amendment but thinks that it shouldn't be

I would need to see more than that to know what he was trying to say

Either way though, he is a wing nut

5. The culture of lies in America has spread to every profession
People think that they're entitled to their own facts, regardless of whether they comport with objective reality.

And it's not just fundy nutters engaging in this behaviour.

6. Buck refused to prosecute an admitted rapist
because even though the guy confessed Buck thought the woman was experiencing "buyers remorse". And this guy actually has a shot. :eyes:
