Rand Paul Curb Stomper Identified
Edited on Tue Oct-26-10 07:48 PM by demwing
The Curbstomper shown here:

And more clearly in these photos from the same night:

Appears to be Tim Profitt, Rand Paul's Bourbon County coordinator, shown here at an earlier debate:

And the Lexington police are looking for him:

"Today, October 26, 2010, detectives identified the suspect, involved in the assault, as Tim Profitt. Mr. Profitt is currently being served with a criminal summons ordering him to appear before a Fayette County District Court Judge."

thanks to the Barefoot and Progressive site here:

6. LMFAO... yeah like they ran with the 9/11 responders health care vote
The Republicans have pretty much handed the Dems an arsenal of great ads with their voting record and their crazy tactics..But the Dems seem to want to lose. I have yet to see a single ad that mentions that Republicans voted against health care for 9/11 first responders so foreign corporations could keep their tax loopholes whne doing business in the U.S.

3. Check out his dumbass excuse:
"Profitt said the fight never would have occurred if police officers had intervened earlier."

And...as you can see above, Faux Snooze reported this. :eyes:

4. There was no "fight." It was an unprovoked *assault* on a peaceful protester. nt

10. What Are We Going To Do About It?
This SCARES me. Not personally, because I'm a big guy - 6'3" and close to 300 lbs. I can curl my 15 year old son. :)

It scares me because this is EXACTLY the kind of street brawling shit that the SA used to help propel Hitler to power in the mid 20's. The only differences are the names. Instead of joining the "National Socialist German Workers' Party", the thugs and racists join the Tea Party, another Nationalist movement. Instead of hating the Jews, the Tea Baggers hate the Muslims. Instead of blaming economic woes on the liberal Wiemar Republic, they blame Obamacare.

They want to isolate, purify, and control, violently if they must. They have no problems showing it, and their candidates have no problem saying it.

We just aren't listening, because no one wants to believe it can happen here. Make allusions to Nazis and people scoff, then shut you out, because it cant happen here.

Well. it's happening here, as sure as it did in Berlin in 1925.

We haven't had an election yet, and the violence has already begun. Imagine if the Tea Party loses.

Imagine if that women with a Tea Party boot in her face were your daughter, or wife, or mother...

In 1928 the Nazis won only 12 seats. In 1930, they won over 100, and became the 2nd largest faction in the German Federal Government. We are about to open the door to thugs again, less than 100 years after we shut it. In fact, some of those Tea Baggers were alive during that time, and should know better.

We all should know better.

So, if they win, despite our best GOTV, or if they cheat, despite our actual majority, what exactly are we going to do?
