Letter to the Editor - Example |
|
This is a letter to the editor I'm sending to newspapers. feel free to alter it and steal the idea.
I’m sure all of us can remember being angry at some time and doing things that we later regretted. In less than a week we have an election coming up and I don’t think voting angry is going to lead to the solutions America needs to get over being angry. It’s likely to make us even more angry.
Perhaps it is better to think things through, use logic and reason, wisdom and good judgment, and pick the best candidates possible. And if you are going to vote angry, can you at least go to the trouble to figure out who is the right person to be angry at? The only thing worse than being angry is regretting who you voted for when you were angry and having to live with the results.

But although it appears to be just good voting advice that editors will want to publish we all secretly know that logic reason and good judgment favors the Democrat where voting angry without thinking favors the Republican.
