we all know climate change is a myth made up by scientists just to get people to buy eco products, right? :eyes:

...snip

"Meteorologists know this is an intense storm due to lowest central pressure of the low in Minnesota bottoming out in the neighborhood of 955-960 mb. ... its central pressure is now a record low pressure for a U.S. non-tropical land-based system! The central pressure not only beat the infamous Superstorm of 1993, but also nudged by the "Cleveland Superbomb of 1978"! Its pressure is also lower (stronger) than the last 4 hurricanes of the 2010 Atlantic hurricane season."

1. Seems like a Hollywood movie has come to life.
I hope this dissipates without doing too much damage.

Massive windstorm howls across nation's midsection

By TAMMY WEBBER, Associated Press Tammy Webber, Associated Press – 2 hrs 51 mins ago

CHICAGO – A massive storm with wind gusts up to 81 mph howled across the nation's midsection Tuesday, snapping trees and power lines, ripping off roofs, delaying flights and soaking commuters hunched under crumpled umbrellas.

Spanning from the Dakotas to the eastern Great Lakes, the unusual system mesmerized meteorologists because of its size and because it had barometric pressure similar to a Category 3 hurricane, but with much less destructive power.

Scientists said the storm had the force of a blizzard minus the snow.

7. it's heading towards us in vermont
in vermont but we're not expecting such high winds. just moderate winds and some rain. it was 70 degrees here on Tuesday. with all the storms, volcanoes, and earthquakes in the last 2 days it almost seems like the shit is actually starting to hit the fan
