... just to show how infernally stupid the whole notion that we suddenly can't use a soldier once we "know" he or she is gay is. But I suspect most active military, gay and straight, feel so strong a sense a duty, in spite of all the bullsh*t, that they wouldn't.

Maybe that's too bad.
