I Can't Believe That Jack Booted Thug Curb Stomped That Woman- Republicans Are Seriously Messed Up
Edited on Wed Oct-27-10 05:48 AM by DemocratSinceBirth
Did he think he was Tony Soprano or Edward Norton's character in American History X who did two of the most vicious "curb stompings" in cinematic history.

Some of the Tea Party rallies have the feel of a 1930's German beer hall. All they need is Horst Wessel Lied.

1. Here is the Thug

Meet Tim Profitt. He once had his picture taken with Rand Paul.

Tim Profitt is a Rand Paul volunteer from Kentucky's Bourbon County. He admits to being the man who stepped on MoveOn.org activist Lauren Valle's face while fellow Rand Paul supporter Mike Pezzano held her pinned to the ground outside the Kentucky Senate debate. He told the Associated Press he's sorry, sort of.

I'm sorry that it came to that, and I apologize if it appeared overly forceful, but I was concerned about Rand's safety. A friend of mine went up to three policeman before Rand got there, and told them about the girl who was standing there with that wig on and that she was getting ready to do something. The policemen looked at him and said that's not our job.

A self-important vigilante who thinks stepping on the face of a "girl" who is pinned to the ground is a necessary safety precaution? Nevermind open carry laws (which Profitt's woman-wrestling sidekick supports), these guys are walking arguments against the 2nd Amendment. They can't even be trusted with their own feet. Profitt says he spoke to the police, who have yet to charge him with a crime.

now it's OK to stomp a woman half your size?

If she were my sister, this guy had best buy a secure house and hire some guards...

2. The far right is so ginned up, I'm almost thankful it was only a stomping.
Nothing would surprise me when it comes to these characters. They listen to candidates and talking heads promote 2nd amendment rights and the violent overthrow of government and next thing you know it starts happening. The people (and I use the term loosely) involved in this need to go to jail. They're thugs and criminals disguising themselves as patriots.

5. Amurkkkan Spekkk Taters has a headline this morning:"It's Head Stomping Season"
I won't link to a vile reich wing rag. Now why would they have that sort of headline? Hmmm? Do they think violence is the only way they can win?

Incidently, it's a blame the victim article, basically saying it was ok cause the victim was from Move On and had protested (gasp) in the past.

11. Liberals had best gird their loins for actual battle or roll over and die
The government is not going to protect us and the fascists and their enablers will keep pushing.

Passive tactics won't work against people of no conscious.

12. The tea bags are becoming more and more to think
they are in charge. With the election of Obama it set them off because 1)he is a Democrat and we know that for what they did to Clinton and Carter 2) he is black. And the can't help but show their racism.

It makes them feel macho to fight and pick on others. I suppose the bully's of the world started out being republicans and because they could they become the KKK tea bags.
