Senator Jim Inhofe
Edited on Wed Oct-27-10 12:32 PM by ck4829
If Republicans take the Senate, then Senator Inhofe will become the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works.

This is the same man who not only flew into a closed runway today (Which had a giant X on it, it means "Don't land here", quite visible and it had people working on it), he also blamed the whole thing on the people who operate the airport because they're apparently operating a big conspiracy against him. Really, people put their lives in danger to get a chance to embarrass Jim, that's what the guy thinks.

This committee will oversee things like BP, alternative energy sources, our infrastructure, global warming, our water, and more.

Can we let such an irresponsible man be in charge of this increasingly important committee?

1. Irresponsible is being VERY kind. The man is a totally arrogant, selfcentered asshole.
He may also have borderline dementia as well. His actions do not appear to be those of someone in control of their faculties.

But, sadly, of course..he would not be the first member of Congress to be deep in the throes of dementia...

2. Well let's all go on line and make a complaint to the FAA
see if they take action and I am going to say, just because he is a senator is he allowed to ignore the law and put people's lives in danger.
