4. I think we will do a lot better than expected, frankly.
Too much of the recent election coverage has been an obvious attempt to gin up ratings, and too many of the GOP's candidates are weirdos and flakes. Most voters do not like extremists, and they are turned off by people who are overtly hateful.

I expect we will do quite well, very likely even hold on to both houses.

6. I think we will retain both house and senate but who really knows

for sure. The other side is COMPLETELY batshit fucking insane but that hasn't stopped them from winning in the past, unfortunately. I know I will be there Nov 2 voting for CT DEMS. I could walk to the polling place from where i live. I can't ever see myself skipping voting ESPECIALLY if/when I get to vote against Lieberman which will be sooo easy since he is no longer a DEM.

7. Dems don't hold the Senate now.
Through their collaborators, the Blue Dog "Democrats",
the Republicans still control the Senate.

And they'll enhance their control after the 2010 election.

The House? The Blue Dogs will be blown out, fake Republicans
replaced by Real Republicans. A few good Democrats will lose
their seats as well. Will Democrats continue to hold the House?
I don't know; it's going to be close.
