You remember that Monty Python skit about the elections between the Silly Party and Serious Party? |

3. It was actually the Silly Party vs the Sensible Party |
|
Which is DUish if you ask me. And not to be overly sensible, but the preferred term is 'sketch' and the term 'skit' is frowned upon in silly circles, as well as slightly silly circles.

4. I don't want to get into an argument over this, but, according to a recent poll, the slightly silly |
|
circles have recently been favoring the term "skit" much more heavily than they were previously.
Of course, that poll was conducted and reported by Fox News.

7. According to Toqueville, we've always been a nation full of Torquemadas. |
|
Sadly, no Cardinal Biggsley among the tea baggers to lighten the mood.
