1. Joe Miller is looking like an idiot... And when Rachel was there, she said |
it felt more like 2008 in the lower 48: The Dems are fired up.

4. I haven't heard that but I do believe he is going to win |
And the reason I believe that is many people that write in Murkowski will not write in both names...If the write in does not have both Lisa and Murkowski it will be thrown out becuase clear voter intent can not be determined.. Remember her father is also a political figure and his name is Murkowski also...The voter could be writing in his name, for all anyone knows. He was Governor after all and is fairly well known...I think there will be more overall votes cast with a write in but many will be contested and Joe Miller is going to come in a distant third...

6. Forget the polls: GOTV. The polls all involve multiple decisions |
and assumptions: one decides who to poll; one decides how to "correct" the poll for errors resulting from sampling; one decides who will actually vote; and then one decides which of these predictions to report and how to spin them. It doesn't matter today: today what's important is GOTV

8. they probably mean that he is in the lead as a named candidate |
the poll shows McAdams with 29 above Miller at 23 (in the lead), but "write-in candidate" at 34%
