You can't stomp on us!
http://pol.moveon.org/cantstomp/photos.htmlLast Monday night outside a senatorial debate in Kentucky, 23-year-old Lauren Valle was thrown to the ground and, while she was pinned, a man intentionally stomped on her head, leaving Lauren with a concussion. The next day the Paul campaign worker who stomped on Lauren's head demanded she apologize, saying "she instigated it!"
In 2010, in America, women deserve better than to be assaulted and then blamed for it.
In 2010, in America, engaging in political protest is not an invite for a beating.
MoveOn, Progressive Change Campaign Committee, and CREDO sent out a call for people everywhere to join us in saying to Rand Paul, the Tea Party and anyone inflicting violence against us: "If you stomp on me, 1,000 more will take my place."
The response has been overwhelming. Look at the pictures here and add your own. Together, we can stop the violence.
