I know Anna Nicole Smith was smart, she sure figured out how to get that geezer to marry her, and get a shot at his money. But I remember her on-camera persona as the stereotypical 'dumb blonde'. She didn't do a lot for the image of women as more than just accessories for powerful men.

....seemed like a Holly Golightly thing. Women (pretty ones especially) are told that if they can't make it on their own, marrying up is the only way to go. If there is one thing Anna may have learned in life, it was that a good looking woman can always land a rich man with few options. (And yes, good looking men can do the same with old rich widows.....)
