Dems against Dems?
So...what the heck is up with ads from congressional democrats attacking other democrats? I'm not all for towing the party line, and being a part of conformists, but if you're going to call yourself independent, or conservative like a couple of these guys, why are you democrats?

If you don't understand the extent of what I'm saying, please check out this article from ABCnews. Bunch of Republicans in disguise.

1. Like it or not, Bobby Bright is running in Alabama
Healthy disagreement amongst Dems should be encouraged - we've come very close to having a progressive "Tea Party" movement of our own to counter the centrist Dem establishment that Obama finds himself part of.

2. Could you give us some examples of "Tea Party" progressives, derby?
....Or "Tea Party" behavior by Progressives? I'd be much obliged.

3. Well, there was a lot of progressive pushback against health insurance reform
Even Howard Dean and Dennis Kucinich got into the act, saying they would not support the bill without a robust public option. There's two prominent examples right there. That's when Obama turned to the bully pulpit to bring Kucinich onboard and drive Dean into semi-exile.

I gotta say, Kucinich and Dean had the right idea. For all of Obama's crowing about how "we got 90% of what we wanted," people like me are convinced it's more like 58%, which is a failing grade.

4. I, too think we should have had a roust public option. But
I can't equate a strong and intelligent disagreement about policy with the teabaggers! Teabaggery is ignorance. Period.

7. And let's not forget that Obama himself had said any bill he
signed would have a strong public option. He said that. Those who tried to get him to live up to his word are not the same as ignorant violent Republicans, save in the mind of the rhetorically histrionic 'moderates'. If they are moderate, one would think their verbiage might reflect that moderation, but nope.

10. "Drive Dean into semi-exile"?
What exactly did Obama do to exile Howard Dean? Dean voluntarily left the post of DNC Chair.

5. These are the one's that most likely will lose their election..
The Progressive Democrats will more than likely win hands down...and then when it is all said and done the Party will decide they must move toward the Right....because a certain number of Democrats lost..

6. Regardless of the outcome,
the DLC controlled party will use it as an excuse to move the party farther right.

9. Thanks for the welcome
I just couldn't believe those ads. I saw a few of them on yesterday's episode of the Colbert Report, and of course he used it as a joke, and the truth is it actually is pretty darn joke worthy, but good grief, throwing your own party under the bus? And like i said, calling yourself an independent conservative hardly makes you a democrat.
