Before: "Hawaii Dem Primary Neck and Neck". After: "Blowout for Abercrombie" |
|
Our Democratic primary candidates Neil Abercrombie and Mufi Hannemann were polling within the margin of error for a long while, but after the actual ballots were counted, Neil beat Mufi almost 60-38. It was an ass whooping of major proportions for a candidate that had held no office in the state fo'evas. Mufi had tons of workers whose fate would rise or fall with their boss. Guess what? It didn't matter. We went for the (imho) better candidate in a very big way, and guess what else? Neil is going to win the general election next week, no matter what Duke Aiona says.
So what?
I'm just saying, polls don't mean much. Imua!

3. The old saying: The only polls that count are on election day. |

I think we're going to have a general blowout. (and not like the one GWB is having in my pic below.)

5. Hannemann was the Conservative choice in that primary. |
|
He was endorsed by a number of Evangelical groups who were convinced that if he won the primary the next Governor would be "in the Kingdom" no matter which party won.
Maybe these polls that we accuse of having a Republican bias in their sample selection actually have a CONSERVATIVE bias.
