C-SPAN - Clinton did not ask Meek to drop out - Charlie did |
|
According to Susan on C-SPAN this morning. I believe that came from Meek.

1. Meek on Today said (if I understood him right)... |
|
...that the Crist campaign started a rumor that Meek was considering dropping out.
But then Clinton said that when he met with Meek, he told Meek to "do what you think you have to do." Now, I don't know how someone relatively new to this realm of politics would take that kind of advice coming from an party statesman like Clinton.
But I'm coming around to the conclusion that Meek never intended to drop out and that this rumor started by the Crist people has taken on a life of its own, just as intended. But what do I know.
