I've always been impressed with the activity in the Election Reform group. There are people that have dedicated themselves to preventing fraud.

Guns is another favorite on DU. People love to argue about guns for some reason.

Overall this shows that DU is as the moderators say "a large and diverse community." There's a lot of people here with a lot on their minds and apparently a lot to say. That's what makes DU great.

That is why an analysis of topic specific forums is useful to see which subjects are of the most interest.

General Discussion is probably the most active forum by far, yet what does that tell you really? People like discussing a wide variety of things?
