If the voting machines in NC were flipping votes towards Republicans I am sure the Dems would have whitewashed the issue , made excuses , tried to express doubts because they are afraid of being accused of being conspiracy theorists or wackos or whatnot .

The Repubs just simply filed suit , there is a suspicion of something afoul , you file a suit , subpoena evidence and get the truth out , nobody is going to eat you if evidence shows everything was fine and dandy after all.
