5. While I support legalising marijuana, this is total bullshit.

The people making this don't have any more idea than anyone else how much tax revenue legalising marijuana would provide or how much it would expand the economy, let alone how much revenue drug cartels would lose. The numbers are pure guesswork, and presenting them as fact like this is just lying.

I notice that when it says "figures and sources", it doesn't actually provide any sources.



And that's without even taking into account the fact that the federal law agencies would probably still be enforcing a ban on marijuana, so any revenue generation from this would probably be a long way down the road.



And, on top of all that, it doesn't even quote the one statistic that *can* be reliably worked out, and which actually makes the strongest case for legalising marijuana, which is the reduction in the prison population and associated savings (although see above point about federal agencies).


So, yeah. I'm *Spectacularly* unimpressed by this one, I'm afraid.
