Has anyone asked, "What is in that tea anyway?" "Why does it make them so crazed?" |
|
Just asking the obvious questions, which I haven't heard asked yet.
"Beware the Tea!"
Question for 2010 Republican candidates:
"What kind of tea have you been drinking?"

Oh heck, the crazy came before the tea.
"Effects: The phrase "Red as a beet, dry as a bone, blind as a bat, mad as a hatter" has been used to describe Jimson's effects, and it does a good job of summing them up. All parts of the plant are toxic, so pleasant effects are limited -- a big reason the plant is used only by novices. Atropine and scopolamine block the neurotransmitter acetylcholine, causing dry mouth, dilated pupils, high temperature (but reduced sweating), and blurred vision. Psychological effects include confusion, euphoria, and delirium."

No way pot is ever going to have this sort of effect, not even on someone with PTSD.
It's a pretty unlikely effect of psychedelics also.
No, I think they've been brewing colostomy bags and guzzling it. What else would explain the smell of what comes out of their mouths?
