My pictures from today in the area the Jon Stewart Rally will be held.

I took these today, me and my little brother will soldier out at 4am tomorrow morning to the rally to hopefully get a spot in the front, I will post more pictures tomorrow.

I am so thrilled!!

Gonna be there tomorrow!! With lots of friends, it's supposed to be good weather, lots of great comedy (of course!), nice tunes, excellent company, and really, a historic day.

Which might almost sound like hyperbole, but really, I think it's almost on par with the Inauguration, which I also attended. Great spirit, happy people, the DC police and Metro folks handled it all well, and I have every confidence that they will do the same tomorrow - oops, today!!

And then, go out and vote next week, folks!! Laughter and comedy is all well and good, but voting is a good thing and something which we all as citizens should do.

Vote and restore sanity. Hmmm, the two things go together so well.

But honestly turn out will be huge. I was at the bar tonight after we got back to the hotel and I am not exaggerating, just about every person that came in and out of the bar was there for the rally.

This might be wishful thinking on my part but I honestly think this will be a historic event with a few hundred thousand people there.

9. One of my frineds at work, who is way more extroverted than me

totally can reel off a half-dozen people he knows who are going down. This is kind of a big deal, even if it's jokey. Fow what it's worth, I would've like to go--wait--that's not more than a five hour drive, and I already know I can spend a ridiculous amount of time in my car---

But parking will suck--nevermind, But I am on board in spirit.

People i talked to drove far more than 5 hours and I gave up my savings to fly in from NM. It will be a good event to be at, I think it will be historic.
