1. So love John Prine!
He came here a few years ago and played a sold out concert at the Hawaii Theater. It was about two years ago i think. He's given me so much joy, thank you for posting that!

Hey earlier tonight I put a vid of "Paradise" in a thread about Muhlenberg County.
anyhow, aloha Kentuck, thanks!

4. He used to play at Passims sometimes when we lived in Cambridge
in the 70's. What a cutie.

We moved there from Honolulu- it was a trip, getting used to wearing shoes, no joke!

Hope his healing is coming along, I heard it was a pretty rough road.

6. I think he had surgery on his throat?
He's the poor man's Bob Dylan, some say. To me, he's just John Prine. :-)

9. OMG! John Prine!
I didn't know there was many people left who knew about this wonderfully gifted songwriter. I've sung lots of his stuff. Whenever I break out the gitfiddle someone almost always asks for "Angel from Montgomery."
