particularly among people who should know better, like NOW- flocking to her "defense" because they can't figure out how the sexual hypocrisy of someone who wants to outlaw masturbation is fair game.

She's not even a fundie, she's not even that honest. I grew up Catholic and was in Catholic school K - 12, I never met one family that had a problem with Halloween, Catholics are a pretty festive religion actually, Mardi Gras is a Catholic fest! It's the Evangelicals who think like that and she is aiming to make a lot of money off of them so she just says this crap so she can be a celeb in their eyes.
