2. Which is more contagious: fear or stupidity?

I wonder sometimes which one of these is making the other grow. It's like a symbiosis.

I pity these people. I really do. Yes, they're morons (or is it now officially morans?), but they're American morons. They're our problem. I've always believed in education, but how does one reach a moron without becoming moronic?

Does the fear feed the stupidity or is it the other way around?
